AUTHOR  BIO :

He was born and reared in La Rue, Ohio, a small village nestled in the farmlands of mid Ohio. It was there that he learned to appreciate small town life and country living. After graduating from Ohio University in 1970 with a degree in English Literature, he entered the field of retail management and for the next 30 years managed many stores in the Detroit, Michigan area.

In 1996 with a lifelong dream of being a writer, he started writing short stories. Within the next two years, he had four published and since then has enjoyed having his first novel, All Those Years Ago published. Last year, Winterwolf Publishing released his second novel, A Summer Harvest. His third novel, THE ROAD BACK HOME, is to be published in March of next year.

Scott and his wife, Deb now live in Mansfield, Ohio.

A SUMMARY OF THE BOOKS :

“A SUMMER HARVEST”A Summer Harvest is a story that looks into the very heart of small town life.  It is a powerful yet poignant story laced with humor and filled with warm sentiment of enduring love. It examines one man’s triumphs and his losses and allows us to share the simple yet meaningful life in the heartland of rural America.

“THE ROAD BACK HOME” THE ROAD BACK HOME is a nostalgic trip back in time. It was an age of innocence unlike anything we have even known. It's about two teenage boys and their search for adventure and a damn good time.

“ALL THOSE YEARS AGO” - All Those Years Ago takes a close look at an old man and how his life changes when he gives of himself to another. At the brink of death and with no hope left in his life, Norman Miller becomes a new man when faced with a crisis that involves helping someone else. It is a warm and tender story laced with humor and filled with sentiments of enduring love. It examines one man’s triumphs and his losses and allows us to see the impact that friendship and love can have in our lives.
