When twenty eight year old Megan McKenzie inherits Tewkesbury House her life is changed forever.

Married to Jack for the past five years and seven months pregnant with their first child they set off for their new life in the country. However their lives are thrown into turmoil when Jack is lured away and Megan is given a labour inducing drug. Barely conscious she gives birth to a girl and the baby is kidnapped.

In her quest to find her daughter Megan uncovers a family feud dating back thirty years and also discovers the truth about her own past and identity.
