Euro 1 Motion Picture and Literary Agency has moved its North American office from Tampa Bay, Florida USA to Toronto, Ontario Canada.

Established since 1999

Representing foreign writers, illustrators, publishers and film makers of a wide range of works, from commercial mainstream fiction including thrillers, mysteries, children's, romance, women's fiction, ethnic, erotica, science fiction, fantasy and nonfiction, current affairs, health, science, psychology, cookbooks, new age, spirituality, pop-culture, adventure, true crime, biography and memoirs. 

Sorry, we do not accept poetry. We are also interested in television and feature film screenplays. We represent our clients as foreign writers to the following markets: Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia, Slovenia, Macedonia, Turkey, Hungary and Greece. 

NOTE: We generally do not market our clients in North America, Western Europe or anywhere other than the specified markets, but  this does not necessarily mean that we won't, from time to time our marketing will venture outside the said regions. Screenplays that require an over inflated budget will not be considered, the market we specialize in cannot support budgets greater than ten million dollars. If we are successful in securing a publishing deal or a film production deal in the said target markets, the writers work will be translated and published or produced in one or more of the following languages:  Serbian, Croatian, Slovenian, Macedonian, Greek, Hungarian, Turkish and English.

Agents managers and lawyers are welcomed to discuss the possibilities of jointly marketing their clients in our specialty markets. Producers and Directors with work in preparation or in progress are also welcomed to contact us regarding pre-sale possibilities.

To logistically better serve our clients Euro 1 also operates a North American office in Toronto, Canada.

We are now seeking published and unpublished, produced and un-produced writers. We accept unsolicited material and never charge a reading or consulting fee.  

HOW TO SUBMIT YOUR WORK

All work must be in Microsoft Word, Rich Text or PDF formats. Illustrators please convert all work into PDF. Screenplays must be in  Microsoft Word, Rich Text, Movie Magic, Final Draft, Sophocles or PDF. For fiction works, please submit a synopsis, the first three chapters (60 pages maximum) a brief author's biography and photograph along with a one page cover letter. For nonfiction, please submit a book proposal which should include an outline of the material and include sample material (30 pages maximum), a brief author's biography and a photograph along with a one page cover letter. For Children's works, (picture books) please send the complete manuscript. For Children's text only works, send (20 pages maximum). For illustrators, please send a representative portfolio of your art work. Please do not send us material that is not complete and please do not mail any hard copy material, as we will not return any material.

For all submissions please ZIP attachments and do not exceed 5 mb in file size or your email will be rejected, if it is necessary to send more than 5 mb then send a second or third email. Please ensure that email is free of viruses, should our system detect a virus in your attachment your email will automatically deleted and blacklisted and you will no longer be able to submit material to us.

All received submissions are time stamped. If we don't respond after six weeks you are welcome to contact us again regarding your submission but please allow six weeks for a response first.
