AUTHOR BIOGRAPHY :

John Ling is a young writer born in 1983 and raised in Malaysia. He is currently pursuing Economics and Political Science at the University of Otago in New Zealand.

Blending fact and fiction, his action-thrillers feature exotic locales, military tradecraft and emotional drama. His short stories has appeared in various publications, most notably Maelstrom Volume One, a British anthology of horror and suspense. His first book ‘Fourteen Bullets’ has been published by American small press Silver Lake Publishing. 

John has garnered significant media attention in his native Malaysia. He has been featured in The Star newspaper, Cleo magazine, Think magazine and others. He has also appeared on Xfresh TV on Astro, Malaysia's largest satellite broadcasting network.

John has given talks and Q&As at MPH Bookstores, Malaysia's largest book retailer. He also regularly visits colleges and institutions of learning in order to reach and inspire youngsters.

Think Magazine notes: "There is an unquenchable fire. His stories explode from their chambers with ferocious aplomb, rarely stopping, always moving."
